Toy fair season is underway, and with it comes a new round of awards honoring some of the best new and recent toys.

At the recently wrapped London Toy Fair, the British Toy and Hobby Association presented its annual Editor’s Choice Awards. More than 260 companies exhibited at the show in London with the awards voted on by attending media. The Editor’s Choice Awards honor the three most highly ranked toys of the show.

“In such a competitive environment, placing in the top three of the Editor’s Choice Awards is a major achievement and a strong signaler of future success,” says Majen Immink, director of fairs and special events for the association.

  1. Hidden Side Haunted Fairground, from LEGO
  2. Geomagworld Green Range, including Geomag Classics and Magicube Color produced with 100% recycled plastic
  3. Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Marvel Super Heroes, from Moose Toys, imported by Character Options for the UK

As the toy industry moves toward sustainability, Geomagworld was notably excited to emerge within the top three.

“We are very proud of the result we have achieved,” says Filippo Gallizia, CEO of Geomagworld. “Coming runner-up in the Editor’s Choice Awards is really important for us. It means that the hard work we put in to create this sustainable and responsible collection has been recognized and appreciated. We shall continue to strive to ensure that our products have an even lower impact on the planet while maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety, and design. The issue of environmental responsibility is an inherent part of Geomagworld’s DNA and we are keen to continue our journey in this direction.”
