Diverse Marketing continues its expansion with the addition of Lonny Weinstein as executive vice president.

Weinstein joins the company from Melissa & Doug where he served for nearly 20 years, most recently as vice president of omnichannel sales. During his time at Melissa & Doug, Weinstein was part of the team that grew the company from a small manufacturer catering primarily to independent toy stores and gift shops to one of the most recognizable global brands in the toy industry.

“Diverse Marketing is a clear industry leader and I look forward to collaborating with the team to capitalize on the tremendous current momentum they have built in the marketplace,” Weinstein says.

Diverse Marketing represents toy, gift, and sports manufacturers to retailers across the U.S. The company has permanent showrooms in Dallas, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Seattle in addition to maintaining a presence at Toy Fair New York each February.

Reps across the country visit retailers on a regular basis to show and sell products from companies including Educational Insights, Fat Brain Toys, Funko, Hearthsong, Learning Resources, Le Toy Van, Schylling, TOMY, and many others.

“I am excited to help drive incremental sales, develop new revenue opportunities and find the hottest, most exciting new suppliers and bring their great products to market immediately and seamlessly across the vast list of independent, regional, national, and online retailers with which the sales team has built fantastic, long-term relationships over the years,” Weinstein adds.

Over the past week, crowds have gathered at the Dallas Market Center for the annual Total Home & Gift Market resulting in record traffic for Diverse Marketing’s Dallas showroom.
