With the re-launch of Bob the Builder on PBS, Mattel will debut a new line of Bob the Builder toys at the North American International Toy Fair in New York City. The line will include three new sets that allow kids to create their own construction projects.
Super Scooper, Bob’s best friend, has been brought to life with remote control action. The remote has four buttons to activate movement such as forward and reverse, movement of the back bucket, and a stunt mode button. Once the stunt mode button is pushed, Super Scooper uses his front bucket to prop himself upside down as he shows off his moves. Scoop also lights, makes sounds, and says phrases.
The Mash and Mold Construction Site comes with 16 ounces of mash and mold sand, which allows kids to build and re-build creations. Five tools, 35 molds, four hexagonal tiles for the base, a TNT demolition foundation pad, and a Dizzy sand vehicle are also included. The construction site is compatible with all Mash and Mold sand vehicles.
The Sand Vehicles assortment set comes with Scoop: a hardworking digger, Muck: a dump truck, and Roley: a steam engine roller that turns into a crusher. The vehicles each come with 4-ounce containers of Mash and Mold play sand, unique stamps, and over 10 molds are included.
