Mattel Drops the Hammer on Disney•Pixar Cars Week NASCAR Collaboration

Ahead of the Daytona 500 this weekend, Disney and Pixar‘s Cars Week is back with an official NASCAR collaboration.

Mattel unleashed a new 1:55-scale die-cast Cars NASCAR assortment that puts a NASCAR-ified spin on classic characters from Pixar’s Cars franchise, including Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm, Mater, and Luigi and Guido.

Additionally, real life NASCAR drivers, including Chase Elliot, Austin Dillon, William Byron, Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, Daniel Suarez, Aric Almirola, and Kyle Busch have been transformed into die-cast as new characters, such as Gogo Logano and Chase Racelott.

Each car in the assortment comes with a pit-stop barrier while crew members each come with their own stack of tires.

The new line is racing into Walmart stores now with additional Cars NASCAR toys and activated set to be revealed throughout the year.
