Mattel launched Silicon Valley Startups, a card game where players act as entrepreneurs compete against each other to pitch comical startup ideas to investors. All of the pitch ideas come from random card draws, so players must use improvisation skills to win the game.

Silicon Valley Startups partnered with Daymond John, a co-star and investor on ABC’s Shark Tank, to launch a Silicon Valley Startups Contest. The contest allows potential entrepreneurs to pitch their best-of-the-worst ideas for a shot at a $50,001 prize, which is one dollar more than the leading industry prize for disruptive startups. The contest is open online until Dec. 20.

Silicon Valley Startups is available now from Target and will expand to all mass retailers nationwide next year.
