Barbie’s 60th anniversary celebration continues with the launch of a new doll collection inspired by streetwear fashion.

Mattel debuted the BMR1959 range to celebrate the fashion heritage of Barbara “Barbie” Millicent Roberts and to showcase how current trends influence the brand. The collection was led by Carlyle Nuera, lead designer for Barbie Signature. BMR1959 focuses on self-expression and personal style.

The fully posable dolls pair high- and low-fashion mixes with reimagined ’90s styles and colorways. The range was created using a variety of body types and facial sculpts, and each doll comes paired with accessories such as jewelry, fanny packs, and more. Each doll comes packed with a custom display stand inside a streetwear-style custom shoebox with a sketch and designer signature printed on the lid.

The BMR1959 collection is available at retailers including Walmart, Target, Amazon, and Entertainment Earth.
