This weekend, Hot Wheels fans and automotive enthusiasts in the UK can get in on the Hot Wheels Legends Tour for the first time ever.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, a special U.S./UK joint virtual stop will take place as Mattel continues its search for the next real-life vehicle to be immortalized as a 1:64-scale die-cast vehicle created under the mantra of “built not bought.”
The virtual event features guest judges, including James Bond stunt driver Ben Collins (who moonlights as “The Stig”), Top Gear’s Paddy McGuinness, and Car Throttle host Alex Kersten.

Interested participants from the U.S., Canada, and the UK can register their builds and then tune in to the livestream on Facebook from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. PST on Saturday. Due to the joint international nature of the virtual event, this will be the first time that any Legends Tour stop will crown two finalists.
At the end of this year’s Hot Wheels Legends Tour, 13 finalists will compete in a virtual event broadcast from Los Angeles. The winner will become a mainline Hot Wheels vehicle and be added to the real-life Hot Wheels Garage of Legends.
