Addams Family 5 Points

Back in February, Mezco Toyz unveiled a first look at its newest line, 5 Points, at Toy Fair New York. The line is the company’s take on the classic 3.75-inch action figure scale with five points of articulation, commonly known as 5POA. Shown again at this month’s New York Comic Con (NYCC), 5 Points includes major licenses, such as Scooby-Doo, Batman ’66, and others, along with the Addams Family, which launches today.

As MGM’s animated reimagining of The Addams Family hits theaters in the U.S., Mezco opened preorders for “the first family of Halloween,” with the family packaged in duos on retro-styled blister cards.

Mezco 5 Points Gomez and Morticia Addams

The Addams Family 5 Points series includes Gomez & Morticia, Wednesday & Grandma, Pugsley & Fester, Lurch & It, and the disembodied hand, Thing. Variations of Thing are included with each duo.

Going into Brand Licensing Europe this month, MGM cited the Addams Family as one of its key properties for licensing, alongside RoboCop, Stargate, and others.
