Moonbug is looking to rapidly expandf its licensing reach.
The company behind entertainment brands, including My Magic Pet Morphle, Supa Strikas, T-Rex Ranch, and the recently acquired Blippi and CoComelon, signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) for representation in North America. UTA has repped Blippi since 2018 and will now manage domestic publishing and video game rights for several Moonbug properties in addition to managing licensing efforts for toys, apparel, costumes, and more.
“As we continue to expand our brands, we have remained focused on maintaining strategic partnerships to enhance our licensing,” says Moonbug’s Head of Americas Andy Yeatman. “UTA’s vast experience and history in accelerating brands will be critical to that success and we are excited to sign with them.”
Moonbug’s full content portfolio includes 18 brands representing more than 550 hours of streaming content available across YouTube, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, Roku, and more.
Moonbug recently entered into a global licensing deal with MGA Entertainment (MGAE) to represent its popular Little Baby Bum preschool brand. A full range of CoComelon toys from Jazwares recently arrived at retail.
