Moose Toys won the top honor at the annual Australian Toy Industry Association’s Toy of the Year Awards gala held in Melbourne on March 19. Moose won the 2016 Toy of the Year for its Qixels 3D Maker, part of the Qixels craft brand. Set to launch in the second half of this year, the Qixels 3D Maker also won Craft & Activity Toy of the Year and the Australian Development Award.
In addition, in partnership with Merchantwise, Moose Toys also won Girls Licensed Property of the Year for Shopkins. The Shopkins brand also won the Girl Toy of the Year for the second year in a row at the 113th North American International Toy Fair in February. Since its launch in 2014, there have been more than 240 million Shopkins characters sold worldwide.
