Hotel Transylvania

Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana took home a Canadian Screen Award for Hotel Transylvania: The Series.

Produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Nelvana, the series — based on the film franchise — airs on Disney Channel and streams on Netflix in the U.S. The award honored Robin Budd with Best Direction, Animation, for the episode, “A Few Good Monsters.”

Budd is an award-winning animation director, designer, and storyboard artist. Prior works include Ruby Gloom, Producing Parker, the Beetlejuice animated series, and the animated Peter Pan sequel, Return to Neverland (2002).
