Last week, Nintendo released a video on YouTube that previewed a new hoop-shaped accessorily for the Nintendo Switch, which seemed to encourage motion and exercise.

Today, the company revealed additional information about this new way to play with the Nintendo Switch. It’s a game called Ring Fit Adventure, in which players explore a world and battle enemies using exercises to produce in-game motion and attacks.

Players use two new accessories to play: the Ring-Con hoop and a leg strap. Each holds a piece of the Switch controller.

In Adventure mode, players travel across 20 different worlds in a quest to take down the dragon, Dragaux. Throughout the game, players can attack and defend using more than 40 “Fit Skills,” or exercise moves.

In addition to the main game, Ring Fit Adventure offers a Quick Play mode, which features minigames for shorter bursts of play, and Simple and Set modes, which feature workout routines for various skill levels. There is even a Silent mode for those who live in apartments and don’t want to perform loud exercises, such as jogging in place.

“Nintendo is always looking for ways to surprise people with one-of-a-kind, fresh experiences,” says Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “Ring Fit Adventure combines gaming and physical activity in a way that incentivizes people to keep coming back for more, to further both the story and their own fitness goals.”

The game, which includes the new accessories, will be available starting on Oct. 18.
