Oregon Scientific introduces MEEP!, a new tablet designed just for kids. The 7-inch, Android 4.0 tablet is Wi-fi enabled, features a protective bright orange silicon bumper, a recessed screen, and a ZForce touch screen that won’t shatter when dropped. The ZForce screen allows kids to access games, music, and videos with the lightest touch. The tablet comes with pre-loaded content including Angry Birds, UNO, Toon Goggles, and art and learning apps, among others.
The MEEP! Store features a variety of kid-friendly apps available free or for purchase. MEEP! allows for easy transfer of previously purchased material from a Mac or PC via a USB cable that is included in the package. The tablet also features a front-facing camera that can take still photos and videos for added fun. Content can be displayed on a television screen through HDMI. Parents can control settings, online activity, and limit play time duration by visiting the Parents Portal on MEEPTablet.com. Parents can also provide a virtual allowance for their kids to purchase apps with MEEP! coins.
The tablet can be found at major retailers and is recommended for children ages 6 and up.
