Painting Lulu has a new app feature that encourages kids to express their creativity in a different manner. In the Painting Lulu app, they can snap a picture of absolutely anything, and a new process, entitled Live Image Processing, instantly transforms it into a line drawing ready for digital coloring.

Painting Lulu is intended to foster creative expression. Kids color in the Painting Lulu Activity Book, and then scan the page using the free Painting Lulu app on a smart device. The coloring page instantly appears on the device, and with the tap of the included Painting Lulu Digital Crayon, kids can easily re-touch, save, and print their creations.

Part of the Photo Booth feature, Live Image Processing is currently in the final stages of beta testing, and Painting Lulu will officially launch at North American International Toy Fair this month. The working app will be available in the App Store, the Amazon App Store, and Google Play next week.
