People of Play (POP) is looking to connect the industry in some new ways.

Following some successful events geared toward inventors, POP founder Mary Couzin enlisted Michele Litzky, CEO of Litzky Public Relations, to form a committee geared toward assembling speakers for a series of quarterly conversations aimed at the PR and marketing community.

The first session will take place on April 21 from 1-4 p.m. ET and will stream live via the POP website.

Speakers will be announced in the weeks ahead, and topics planned for the first event include:

  • Influencer engagement and collaborations
  • Affiliate marketing
  • Digital marketing, SEO/SEM
  • Email marketing
  • Social media trends and best practices
  • Earned media
  • Influencer pitching
  • Press releases
