The popular YouTubers of Dude Perfect — Tyler Toney, Cody Jones, Garrett Hilbert, and twins Coby and Cory Cotton — are creating an action-packed Koosh segment for an upcoming episode of their Overtime show which will debut in July, just as the iconic Koosh brand makes its return to retail under a deal inked between Hasbro and PlayMonster last fall.
“The entire Dude Perfect team is so pumped to be working with PlayMonster on the launch of Koosh,” says Toney. “We came up with a brand-new Overtime segment specifically for this launch and we can’t wait to unveil it. It’s unlike anything our fans have ever seen before — get ready!”
Originally launched in 1986, Koosh won millions of fans with its signature item: a ball comprised of thousands of rubber filaments that kids of all ages can kick, bounce, jiggle, roll and squish. For its 35th anniversary, PlayMonster has crafted a fresh lineup that includes Original, Mondo, Clip, and Mini Koosh balls. Additionally, families can collect new Koosh sets for indoor and outdoor play, including the Flingshot, Double Paddle Playset, Hoops, Woosh, and an electronic game with lights and sounds called Koosh Sharp Shot.
“Dude Perfect is the perfect fit to help us celebrate the relaunch of the Koosh brand — their blend of action-packed fun videos appeal to everyone,” says Scott Flynn, vice president sales and marketing, PlayMonster. “Their video segment will highlight all the things we love about Koosh and will showcase the play and fun for all ages.”
The Dude Perfect video will debut on Monday, July 26th. Koosh launches at Target in late July.
