PMI Kids’ World, coming off the debut of Piñata Smashlings and other key licenses, is welcoming a new member to its team. Mark Kingston will be the company’s new Lead of Licensing and Business Development.
Kingston has a long history in the industry, having previously worked for BBC Worldwide, The Walt Disney Company, Nickelodeon, Viacom, and Paramount. He also co-founded Libertas Brands. With more than 24 years in the world of consumer goods, he’ll be helping to lead the charge for an expansion in the global market.
PMI Kids’ World has an impressive streak of staying ahead of the curve when it comes to finding the next hot brands. I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with the team to help take their incredible portfolio of licenses to the next level.
PMI has a lineup featuring established and popular IPs such as PAW Patrol, Sonic Prime, and Among Us. In addition to these, the company has recently added Piñata Smashlings to its roster, a toy collection that unlocks Roblox in-game content as well as Pudgy Penguins, a line of toys based on digital collectibles.
Kingston will be acting in an advisory role for existing licenses as well as assisting the company with upcoming releases such as a new toy line based on Creature Cases, set to launch next year. “Mark’s exceptional track record of driving growth through strategic partnerships will be an asset in shaping and expanding PMI’s reach in the market,” says Omer Dekel, COO of PMI Kids’ World. “We look forward to having his wisdom help us reach our long-term goals.”
