Radio Flyer is cruising toward a sustainable future.

The 105-year-old, Chicago-based company behind the Little Red Wagon and other ride-on toys and mobility aids, is the first global toy company to become a Certified B Corporation

B Labs certifies companies based on their commitment to environmental and social impact. Radio Flyer earned this certification through offsetting 100% of its emissions and increasing the recycled content of their packaging to 87%.

Radio Flyer also launched a line of eBikes in 2021 in the goal of reducing the use of gas-powered vehicles.

“Radio Flyer has inspired play for generations of families, but as we continue to grow the business, we have a responsibility to protect and preserve the earth for future generations,” says Robert Pasin, chief wagon officer at Radio Flyer. “We are proud to see our commitment to being an environmentally and socially responsible corporation recognized but know there is always more work to be done. We are in the early stages of our sustainability and social impact journey and we are proud to offer more sustainably made products that our customers pass down from one generation to the next.”

The company is a part of several initiatives directed at environmental progress including RE100, a group that is dedicated to using 100% renewable energy, it has planted more than 290,000 trees with The Arbor Day Foundation, and other emissions reduction projects.
