Tsumanga Studios, the Scotland-based game developer and publisher, has created a virtual world for girls based on the Winx Club brand. Girls ages 7 to 10 can explore the world of Magix, meet their favorite characters, join the fairies on adventures, and be a part of the Winx Club story. Tsumanga and Rainbow, creator and producer of Winx Club, say the virtual world will offer offline elements kids can enjoy outside of the online game. The Winx Club virtual world will be free to play, and will offer subscriptions for premium content and extended game play. Tsumanga hopes to launch the first Winx Club app in the spring, before the multiplayer virtual world is released in the fall.
