May the Fourth be with you!
German game and toy company Ravensburger has unveiled its plan to release Star Wars puzzles in the U.S. for the first time this year. The new line will include puzzles from the original Star Wars trilogy as well as the new hit series The Mandalorian.
“We know that Star Wars is such a beloved franchise, and we are delighted to finally introduce these puzzles to the U.S.,” says Thomas Kaepeller, president of Ravensburger North America. “With so many designs to choose from, there are truly puzzles for Star Wars superfans of all ages in this line.”
Kids will recognize many famous (and infamous) Star Wars characters in the new Mandalorian-themed puzzles such as Grogu, the Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Moff Gideon, Dark Troopers, and more. In addition to traditional 2D puzzles, kids can also play with shaped puzzles with unique layouts in rectangular frames, including The Mandalorian: Grogu’s Journey and The Mandalorian Helmet.
The line also includes puzzles depicting iconic scenes and characters from the original Star Wars films, including Boba Fett: Bounty Hunter, Star Wars Universe, and Star Wars Challenge.
Previous puzzles inspired by pop culture in Ravensburger’s collection include Despicable Me 3, Disney and Pixar Christmas, and The Beatles: Tickets.
Star Wars fans can currently preorder the puzzles on Amazon, with starting prices at $17. The products will go on sale later this summer.
