Sunny Days Ent. Rick Mershon

Veteran sales exec Rick Mershon has joined Sunny Days Entertainment as the senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Mershon comes to the team behind Maxx Action, Cupcake Surprise, Sweet Pups, and Lil’ Blizzard Friends, from Basic Fun!, where he served as the senior vice president of sales for the past three years. He previously worked with Blip Toys for more than nine years as the vice president of sales.

“We have known Rick professionally for several years. He is known for helping emerging companies such as Blip and Basic Fun! achieve great things,” says Melvin Wells, CEO of Sunny Days Entertainment. “The fact that Rick is joining our fast-growing company is a testimony to our commitment to continued growth and development of new properties.”

Sunny Days recently introduced two new collectibles ranges, Genie Surprise and Cool Cats.
