Floogals are mounting a new round of licensing activity.
The BAFTA and Emmy-nominated preschool series debuted on NBCUniversal’s Sprout Channel (now Universal Kids) in the U.S back in 2016 and spawned a small toy line from Just Play.
Now, with European success and a growing audience propelling the series to rank as the No. 3 show of the year on the UK’s Milkshake! in addition to the first three seasons now streaming on Amazon Prime, YouTube Kids, and Universal Kids, Rocket Licensing inked a new deal to represent the series to build out new licensing and marketing partnerships.
Rocket Licensing plans to bring the trio of curious aliens — Boomer, Fleeker, and Flo — into toys, apparel, publishing, housewares, and food items.

“Floogals has a uniquely attractive blend of live-action and animation and its appeal can be seen in its huge success as a broadcast program, says Charlie Donaldson, joint managing director at Rocket Licensing. “We’re really excited to roll out products for this fun, bright, popular brand and so far, we have had an overwhelmingly positive response from both licensees and retailers alike.”
Floogals, which is seen in more than 50 territories worldwide, was created by Nigel Pickard, Matt Porter, and Ceri Barnes of Nevision. 130 11-minute episodes of the series were produced under a co-production agreement between Sprout, Zodiak Kids, and Nevision.
