Rovio Entertainment signed Maisto, a subsidiary of the May Cheong Group, to develop a wide range of Angry Birds vehicle products, including pull backs, launcher sets, R/C vehicles, and track sets. The multi-year agreement will mean Maisto vehicle products will be on shelves in time for the Angry Birds Movie 2, which is set for a worldwide theatrical release next September.

“We are ecstatic to be working with the great team at Rovio on the Angry Birds product line,” Roger Ngan, CEO of the May Cheong Group says. “The world of Angry Birds is definitely where we want to be, and we could not be more excited with the line-up we will be developing for fall 2019.”

The products are being previewed at the company’s Los Angeles and Hong Kong showrooms.
