Rubik’s Brand Ltd. Launches New Interactive Game, Rubik’s Cage

Rubik’s Brand Ltd. launched a new, interactive game based on the iconic Rubik’s Cube.

From University Games, Rubik’s Cage is a fast-paced, multiplayer game of strategy that places opponents against each other in a race to group three cubes in a row. The strategy comes when players have to decide whether to flip, twist, or turn the cage in an effort to either knock their opponent’s cubes out of place as they move closer to a win.

“We are thrilled to add this innovative game to our roster,” says Christoph Bettin, CEO, Rubik’s Brand Ltd. “We took the twist of an original Rubik’s Cube and matched it with the fast and exciting competition of the sport, and created a game for all ages and stages.”

Rubik's Cage

One of the best-selling toys since its official debut in 1980, the Rubik’s Cube will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year.

Next week, the Rubik’s Cage will take over New York City as a life-size interactive game. At the Toy Insider’s annual Sweet Sweet event, attendees will challenge each other and get a sneak peek at Rubik’s latest innovation!

Sweet Suite is hosted by Adventure Media and Events LLC, parent company of the Toy Book.
