Ryan’s World is continuing to branch out into other countries.
Following the recent debut of Ryan’s World Español, the young YouTuber heads to the Land of the Rising Sun with a newly-dubbed Japanese channel. The expansion into the Far East comes from Ryan’s father, Shion, who was born and raised in Japan. The new channel debuted this week with a unique take on the classic game, Hungry Hungry Hippos.
Over the past year, Ryan and his family’s Texas-based production company, Sunlight Entertainment, has grown to a staff of 28 employees. The team at Sunlight manages nine YouTube channels including Ryan’s World, Ryan’s World Español, Ryan’s World in Japanese, EK Doodles, Ryan’s Family Review, Vtubers, Combo Panda, Gus the Gummy Gator, and The Studio Space.
Combined, Ryan’s channels have received more than 41 billion views to date from an audience of more than 31 million subscribers.
Ryan’s Mystery Playdate was recently renewed for a second season on Nickelodeon.
