Sonic x Arby's

Sonic the Hedgehog will race into theaters this February, but before that he’ll make a stop at Arby’s.

SEGA of America partnered with Arby’s Restaurant Group to bring Sonic the Hedgehog collectible toys to the Game On Kids meal. Beginning Dec. 1, Arby’s will offer an assortment of eight disc toys including Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Dr. Eggman, Shadow, and more.

“We love working with partners who get us, and Arby’s does,” says Ivo Gerscovich, chief brand officer, Sonic the Hedgehog and senior vice president at SEGA of America. “They’ve done a great job with the Game On Kids Meal to integrate content and encourage collectability. We look forward to delighting fans and new audiences via this program as Sonic races into a landmark year ahead!”

To kick off the partnership, SEGA is offering an in-app promotion on its mobile game, Sonic Dash. Players who download or update the app for iOS or Android during the promotional window will automatically receive 50 red star rings good toward unlocking characters, special items, and more.

Arby’s restaurants will carry the Sonic collection through the end of February, or while supplies last.
