The sixth annual Kids India will be held Sept. 4 to 6 at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Center in Mumbai.
Organized by Spielwarenmesse India, Kids India is the country’s largest international B2B fair for toys, children’s products, and sport goods. The sixth edition will showcase about 160 exhibitors representing 350 brands, and will attract more than 6,000 visitors from across India and abroad.
The All India Toy Manufacturers Association (TAITMA) and the Sports Goods Export Promotion Council (SGEPC) also serve as partners for the event.
There will be multiple areas at the event showcasing different toy trends and types. The World of Toys Pavilion will house exhibitors from Germany, Malaysia, Mexico, and the People’s Republic of China. The Trending Now special area will highlight products that reflect the tech and “express yourself” trends. The Back to School Pavilion will have companies offering stationery and school articles.
A new section, The Sports Arena, will debut this year. It is specifically created so buyers interested in sports products can test and experience new products on the spot.
The Sports Goods Export Promotion Council (SGEPC), with the support of the Indian Government, is offering a travel reimbursement program to international buyers.
Kids India also provides a comprehensive Seminar Program with presentations and panel discussions on industry topics, such as toy safety and the latest industry trends. The program is complimentary for all attendees and runs all three days of the fair.
