GI Joe: Classified

Hasbro officially kicked off a new era for G.I. Joe at Toy Fair New York with the debut of its G.I. Joe: Classified line.

The new collection of super-articulated 6-inch action figures brings characters from the iconic brand back into the toy aisles in a modern form that fans of Star Wars: The Black Series and Marvel Legends have been enjoying for years.

The fan-favorite Snake Eyes made his Classified debut in a Deluxe Box Set that quickly sold out via Hasbro’s direct-to-consumer platform, Hasbro Pulse. Now the mighty ninja officially joins the assortment for Hasbro’s standard lineup of G.I. Joe: Classified figures.

Snake Eyes

Previously noted in case assortments under the code name “Tarantula,” Snake Eyes joins Scarlett, Duke, Roadblock, and Destro in the first wave. Each figure is a modern interpretation of a character from the 1980s G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero collection.

G.I. Joe: Classified will be available at mass retail this summer, and is available for preorder via Hasbro Pulse and online specialty retailers including Entertainment Earth.

The G.I. Joe brand is currently poised for a big comeback with the recent launch of a mobile game, a feature film — Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins — planned for the fall, and new licensed products from Jazwares and Jada Toys set for release in the months ahead.
