Solobo Toys, the company behind emotional learning toys such as the Emotion Friends, Emotional Baggage, and the Emotion Blocks, is adding a digital component to its range of educational materials for parents and educators.
The app, called the Solobo Toys Activities app, aims to extend open-ended playtime, teaching kids about their emotions and how to express themselves in healthy and socially appropriate ways. The free app serves as a companion to the company’s toy line, utilizing expert-developed resources to help parents, caregivers, and teachers find additional activities to enhance playtime.

Courtney Peebles, founder of Solobo Toys, oversees the app’s activity development, working alongside a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to ensure that each activity fosters meaningful learning for kids. In the app, parents can find activities related to each product, along with instructions on how to play, tips for variations to accommodate their child’s specific play style, and the skills that kids will develop from each activity.
The Solobo Toys Activities app is now available for parents to download on the Apple App Store.
