Audiences in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) will soon experience the power of the Dragon Ball.
Spacetoon and Toei Animation inked a new deal to bring Dragon Ball Super to MENA. The series will air on TV and through the Spacetoon Go streaming platform ahead of the regional launch of Bandai‘s popular action figures in the region. The series will feature Arabic vocal dubbing and arrives as Spacetoon celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Spacetoon President Fayez Al Sabbagh notes that Spacetoon is the company that first introduced the Dragon Ball franchise to MENA, which makes the Dragon Ball Super TV and toy launch particularly exciting.
“We are impressed by the toy line and the quality of the toys created by Bandai,” Al Sabbagh says.
Bandai’s Dragon Ball Super collection will be imported and distributed in the MENA market by Dubai-based ToyPro.
