Although the in-person event of Spielwarenmesse was canceled this year due to COVID-19, the international toy fair is now going digital.
Spielwarenmesse Digital will bring the worldwide toy industry together, virtually. The online event will run during Spielwarenmesse’s originally planned weekend, February 2-6, 2022. This new platform is offering a comprehensive live program for all participants.
Alongside ways to connect and communicate with others in the industry, the program will offer the trade a compact overview of trends and innovations. The event will launch with the announcement of the ToyAward and run presentations from the Toy Business Forum on all five days. Although the presentations are live, they will be recorded and available upon request as videos.
This digital platform will also allow retailers to make direct contact with exhibitors using various communication tools including private chats, group chats, audio calls, and video meetings. Spielwarenmesse’s popular Special Area will also be reproduced on Spielwarenmesse Digital, as well as a designated Networking area.
