Companies exhibiting at the 71st Spielwarenmesse international toy fair will have a new way to gather data on potential clients.

Spielwarenmesse will offer the LeadTracking program to enable exhibitors to gather, manage, and analyze customer details using the VCtrack app for iOS and Android. To use the service, exhibitors will require a license and a smartphone to be used for reading barcodes. Exhibitors can simply scan each visitor’s ticket to receive full details from any visitor who has consented to information sharing. The app cuts out business cards to simplify collecting contacts at the fair.

The next Spielwarenmesse will be held from Jan. 29-Feb. 2 in Nuremberg, Germany
