Spielwarenmesse

Spielwarenmesse eG and NürnbergMesse GmbH have made an early agreement to extend their contract through 2028. The global toy fair will remain in the Nuremberg, Germany, metropolitan region until the contract runs out.

“Our aspiration is to remain a leading trade fair in our sector, and the plans to develop the site and modernize the infrastructure will be a big help. That’s why we are very keen to continue this arrangement that we know and trust,” says Ernst Kick, chairman of Spielwarenmesse eG.

Spielwarenmesse, which marked its 70th anniversary this year, has taken place in Nuremberg as a financial location and trade fair venue since 1950. The event has provided a focus on toys, hobbies, and leisure in Nuremberg, and it has been held in the current Exhibition Center since the 1970s. Spielwarenmesse brings together approximately 2,900 national and international exhibitors, presents new developments in the industry, and offers information to help roughly 70,000 buyers from 130 countries keep up with market developments each year.

“Nuremberg will continue to be the global capital for toys and games in the years to come,” NürnbergMesse CEO Dr. Roland Fleck says.
