Spin Master set a Guinness World Record for Most People Drawing on an Etch A Sketch Globally at the Same Time. The record attempt spanned nations and time zones, with participants in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. All of the participants collectively sketched a set of stairs.
Etch A Sketch was introduced on July 12, 1960, and was one of the first toys advertised on TV. More than 175 million have been sold around the world.
