Spin Master Corp. is looking to expand its board of directors this spring.
The company nominated former TD Bank Group President and CEO Ed Clark and Spin Master Global President and CEO Max Rangel to stand for election at its annual general meeting on May 6. Clark is on deck to join the board as deputy chair while Rangel will serve as a director.
“Ed is a legendary Canadian business leader with demonstrated experience of driving significant growth and stewarding large, successful companies,” says Spin Master Co-Founder Anton Rabie. “We are so privileged to have him join the board as deputy chair, bringing his deep business and governance experience to help guide Spin Master’s next phase of growth.”
Upon the election of Clark and Rangel, Spin Master’s board will include a dozen members, including Rabie and Co-Founder Ronnen Harary.
“We are pleased to welcome both Ed and Max to the Board and are energized to work together to accelerate Spin Master’s growth and create long-term value for our shareholders,” says Harary. “We have a clearly defined vision for our future, we have full confidence in our strategy, and we see the tremendous potential of our three creative center encompassing toys, entertainment and digital games.”
Rabie’s current role is to drive Spin Master’s long-term vision and strategy while pursuing external partnerships and exploring mergers and acquisitions opportunities in addition to consulting on talent and culture. Harary is actively involved in the entertainment and digital games creative centers.
