A new, Florida-based startup is looking to bring the splash pad experience to backyards and driveways everywhere.
Avaden LLC launched a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo for its Splash2o at-home splash pad, offering early preorders for delivery next year. The adjustable, customizable Aqua Tower folds for easy storage and will launch with eight interchangeable Aqua Station play features. Additional stations are planned for future release.
“Splash2o is that middle ground — I wanted to design a splash pad that had many similar elements to what you’d find at a public park but could easily be set up in your backyard,” says Splash2o founder David Ertur, an inventor and engineer with seven issued patents. “The Aqua-Tower is super simple to install and only requires a garden hose to power. It is designed to grow with your family with custom Aqua-Stations for a range of ages. I know you’ll have (and use!) your Aqua-Tower for years and years.”
When set up, the Splash2o has a 9-by-9-foot footprint with a spray zone of up to 25 feet. Additionally, the Aqua Tower is adjustable in height for kids of many ages.
Limited quantities are being offered at a preorder discount of $299. Retail MSRP will start at $599 when released next year, with package deals available for daycare providers and other commercial applications.
Founded by David and Carol Ertur, Avaden plans to manufacture its products in the U.S., in a commitment to help strengthen domestic workforce.
