Kellytoy Expands Star Wars Squishmallows Line with New Characters

Kellytoy — a subsidiary of Jazwares — dropped the news a short time ago in a galaxy not too far away that it would add Star Wars Squishmallows to its squad of huggable plush. The Toy Book exclusively revealed the first character — The Child Squishmallow — and now more huggable versions are joining in.

In addition to The Child, families can take home their own huggable versions of Star Wars faves BB-8, R2-D2, and Chewbacca. The new Squishmallows will be available in 5-inch and 10-inch versions exclusively at Walgreens starting on Oct. 1.

Kellytoy’s new Disney license can mean big things for the Squishmallows family, which already has more than 500 characters. A few well-known faces have been popping up recently, with a Finding Nemo 10-inch Squishmallow in Walgreens stores now. Fans may be wishing on a star that more will be available quickly. For now, the Force is strong with these ones.
