Illinois-based Learning Resources Inc. and its Educational Insights division have a new vice president of sales.

Stephen Woldenberg will lead and manage the internal sales team, sales representatives, and distributors for both brands. Woldenberg, who served as Learning Resources’ director of e-commerce sales for the past three years, will continue to drive digital sales in addition to building retail partnerships at physical retail for both specialty and mass.

“For the past three years, Stephen has been instrumental in transforming our team into a truly cross-functional sales-marketing group,” says Rick Woldenberg, CEO of Learning Resources. “Stephen will lead us in a changing retail environment where consumers are shopping online more than ever while our retail partnerships with specialty and mass market retailers as well as educational dealers offer great promise.”

Recently, following the launch of a full suite of free Learning@Home Essentials for kids and families to enjoy while at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, Learning ResourcesEducational Insights, and hand2mind partnered with the Kids In Need Foundation.

The trio of companies donated $350,000 worth of educational toys and resources that Kids In Need delivered to kids of all ages in an effort to spread joy and keep kids sharp while schools and childcare centers remain closed.
