Super Hero High will premiere on Boomerang March 19, featuring the lineup of female superheroes from DC Super Hero Girls, the new comic universe from Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Animation, and Mattel. In addition to the hour-long special, exclusive shorts inspired are also now available to view on the Cartoon Network video app.
DC Super Hero Girls centers on the female Super Heroes of the DC Comics universe during their formative high school years. Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Bumblebee, Poison Ivy, Katana, and many more make their teenaged introductions, and each character has her own storyline that explores what teen life is like as a super hero. The special features a voice cast of DC Comics universe veterans, including Greg Cipes, Tara Strong, Ashley Eckstein, John DiMaggio, Tom Kenny, Helen Slater, and Dean Cain.
DC Super Hero Girls merchandise is on shelves nationwide, exclusively at Target. Products from the new line include: toys, dress up, apparel, accessories, publishing and more. Master toy partner Mattel unveiled its new DC Super Hero Girls collection, featuring 6-inch action figures designed for girls; 12-inch collection of action dolls featuring strong, athletic bodies that stand on their own in heroic poses; action role-play toys for girls.
