There’s a nonstop lineup of new games coming to the Nintendo Switch this year. During the latest Nintendo Direct, the company’s Yoshiaki Koizumi introduced a host of announcements for the platform, toplined by Super Mario Maker 2, and a revamped version of the Gameboy classic, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. Nearly 30 new games or key updates to existing titles were revealed, including Tetris 99, Mortal Kombat 11, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Disney Tsum Tsum Festival and many others.
“Every game covered in this Nintendo Direct is slated for launch for Nintendo Switch this year,” says Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “Whether you’re looking for new games in classic franchises, new content for existing hits or completely new experiences, Nintendo Switch has something for everyone over the next several months alone.”
