Masters of the Universe

Super7 officially launched its Masters of the Universe (MOTU) Vintage Collection Wave 4 this week.

Previewed at Toy Fair New York, this release features seven characters from the classic 1980s action figure collection, reimagined to match the characters’ appearances on the animated series. The line includes Buzz Off, Evil Seed, Evil-Lyn, Shadow Weaver, and Stratos, all in a 5.5-inch scale.

Masters of the Universe Vintage Collection Wave 4

The most unique figures in this wave are Shadow Orko (based on the She-Ra: Princess of Power episode, “Shades of Orko”), and Transforming He-Man, inspired by the famed, “I have the power!” transformation sequence seen in every episode of Masters of the Universe. “The most powerful man in the universe” figure glows in the dark and comes with the Power Sword, half sword, and shield. The spring-loaded waist twists for “power punch” action.

Figures are available for pre-order through April 30, direct from Super7, and are expected to ship this summer. Each figure includes accessories and a custom history card.
