Australia-based Headstart International, known for its popular collectible and doll brands HairDooz, Best Furry Friends, and Baby Secrets — adds to its doll category with Bubble Trouble dolls. The new dolls are soft, scented, squeezable, and feature gumball-themed hair and outfits.
Each 10-inch Bubble Trouble doll comes in a bubble gum machine package along with its mini squishy Bubble Buddies. The first wave of Bubble Trouble will feature at least 10 scented characters. Each doll will have vibrant squishy hair and stretchy, bubble gum-themed clothes. The dolls also feature posable arms and legs.
“Bubble Trouble is unlike any other dolls on the market,” says Headstart International CEO Andrew Hendy. “With their distinctive look and out-of-this-world scent and squishable features, we’re giving kids ages 5+ the first on-trend innovative doll in its category. The doll aisle is usually set aside for baby dolls and a plethora of 18-inch doll brands that all look identical. Get ready large doll aisle, you are about to be innovated!”
Headstart is putting forward exclusive YouTube content and extensive marketing initiatives supported by influencer partnerships, digital marketing promotions, and TV media for the Bubble Trouble launch.
Bubble Trouble will be available globally in April, retailing for $19.99. Starting this fall, Headstart will launch four new Bubble Trouble characters every three months, as well as limited-edition characters while supplies last.
Headstart will be showcasing the product range in the License 2 Play booth (#2553) at Toy Fair New York, taking place from Feb. 22-25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
