ZURU Sloth

ZURU is headed for Toy Fair New York with a new lineup of toys lead by a familiar animal: the sloth.

The company is following the success of last year’s llama craze with its Pets Alive Fifi The Flossing Sloth, which was already named a “2020 Hero Toy” by the British Toy & Hobby Association following London Toy Fair last month. The electronic feature plush starts off slow and speeds up as it dances to three included tracks.

Sloths are also infiltrating ZURU’s Rainbocorns line with the debut of the super rare sparkly Slothcorn, which comes to series three of Rainbocorns Sequin Surprise: Wild Heart Surprise. The new range of collectible characters are hatched from a bright, tiger print mystery egg with a unique reversible sequin heart that reveals a magical surprise when swiped.

“Staying on trend is everything in our industry,” says Renee Lee, global marketing director, ZURU. “We believe Sloths will rule 2020. Fifi is a charmer and is sure to follow in the footsteps of her predecessor, while our Slothcorn super rare Rainbocorn adds flair and excitement to the popularity of the award-winning brand.”

The new Rainbocorns will hit stores in July and Fifi will be available this fall.

ZURU will showcase its new product range in booth No. 1835 at Toy Fair New York, taking place from Feb. 22-25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
