The Bandai Foundation, a non-profit organization created by Bandai America Inc., has donated more than $400,000 in grants to 40 national and regional organizations dedicated to helping children throughout the U.S. Since inception in 1995, The Bandai Foundation has given more than $6 million to non-profits benefitting needy children.

The Bandai Foundation granted more than$400,000 to 40 national and regional organizations at its annual Time For Giving celebration. All of the 2013 grantees attended the celebration at the Bandai America headquarters earlier this month.

Each year, The Bandai Foundation accepts grant applications from qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that support children. This year, The Bandai Foundation focused its efforts on a hunger campaign dedicated to fighting hunger for children and their families. Special consideration was given to grant applications that share The Bandai Foundation’s 2013 mission.

Organizations that received grants this year include Giving Children Hope, Children’s Bureau of Southern California, American Diabetes Association, Exceptional Children’s Foundation, Kids in Distressed Situations Inc., Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach, and the Toy Industry Foundation.
