Angry Birds 2, the first sequel in the mobile game series Angry Birds, has arrived from Rovio. While retaining the popular slingshot format, the visuals and gameplay of Angry Birds 2 have been overhauled, with multiple stages in each level to go with new spells such as blizzards, magic ducks, and hot chili peppers.
The spells can be wielded against the pigs to rock the game’s Destruct-O-Meter and earn players more birds. Fans can also challenge other gamers worldwide and, for the first time, choose their own fowl to fling.
Alongside returning characters Red, Chuck, Bomb, and King Pig, the flock is joined by Silver, a strange young bird rescued from Pig City, who has flying skills as well as a unique understanding of pig ways.
In the new Angry Birds 2, players can:
• Collect and choose their own birds, build their flock, and master new slingshot strategies to discover new worlds on Piggy Island.
• Play through multi-stage levels full of exotic plants, quirky details, and plenty of obstacles.
• Use spectacular spells such as blizzards, chilis, and magic ducks.
• Defeat new end-of-stage evil boss piggies such as King Pig, Foreman Pig, and Chef Pig, in order to get eggs back from the bad guys.
• Enter the Arena mode and challenge other players across the world, earning feathers to level up the flock.
• Earn Gems for extra birds, lives, and tickets by playing the game and completing quests, watching videos, or paying real money.
