The Genius of Play partnered with The National AfterSchool Association (NAA) for the Play Ambassadors Program.
This program is designed for select NAA members to share the message about the value of play with other after school professionals, families, and communities.
The Genius of Play and NAA selected 20 Play Ambassadors to serve through the 2018 to 2019 school year. The Play Ambassadors will receive exclusive access to the latest research and expert tips. The ambassadors will host several events, including a workshop for after-school colleagues and teachers, a community play day, and a seminar for parents and caregivers, to put the information into action. Play Ambassadors will also spread the word about the importance of play on social media.
