The Loyal Subjects (TLS) partnered with Bandai America this month in a long-term distribution deal to expand TLS collectibles across retail. Launched in 2009, TLS is known for its signature Action Vinyls—a line that pairs the designer vibe from the vinyl toy world with the poseability found in action figures.

The 3.25-inch scale figures have up 15 points of articulation and come packed with a collector card and interchangeable accessories. TLS has a toy box mentality in that their figures work together, so an accessory from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can also be held by He-Man, and characters from Thundercats can team with Megaman to battle WWE Superstars.

TLS licenses include numerous fandoms and interests across anime, television, movies, superheroes, classic and retro along with horror, fantasy and more. Retail partners include Hot Topic, GameStop, Target, Walmart, Box Lunch, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, FYE, 7-Eleven, Walgreens, and independent toy, hobby and comic book stores.

The Loyal Subjects are one of the smaller companies to feel a punch from the loss of Toys “R” Us last year, having previously maintained position in the retailer’s Fan Zone.

Look for new products to debut next month at Toy Fair New York.
