The Toy Insider, the No. 1 consumer resource for toys and gifts for kids, today unveiled a brand-new logo for the first time in its 17-year history, along with a completely redesigned website to provide its readers with a user-friendly interface that will help them on their toy discovery journey. The Toy Insider, like The Toy Book, is published by Adventure Media & Events.

The Toy Insider’s new logo, designed by Brett Cambria of Cambria Design, features a clean, playful design with fantastic star trails and a brilliant, purple and gold contrasting color palette.

“We wanted this new logo to appeal to the modern parent and feature whimsical elements while still feeling elevated,” says Marissa Silva, co-editor-in-chief of The Toy Insider. “We feel that the new logo is perfectly balanced, giving retro vibes and fresh style all at the same time.”

“As a lifelong fan of toys, there is no bigger honor than helping create the new look for the leading resource of toy information,” Cambria says. “The team at The Toy Insider are fans of toys themselves and it’s a joy to collaborate with people who are passionate about the industry. But the most exciting and gratifying part of this project is knowing that my work, in some small part, will help bring The Toy Insider to a whole new generation of kids, parents, and toy fans.”

Designed in partnership with WebDevStudios, the newly redesigned thetoyinsider.com features more content than ever before, tailored to what readers want to see. Gift-givers can now browse bold and beautiful gift guides, accessing the products they most want to see in a few quick clicks. They will enjoy more relevant listicles, reviews, and product recommendations; and they can read about trending topics in the world of toys.

A brand new product database allows readers to access every single toy and game posted to the site at a glance, along with filters that help them sort through product categories easier than ever before.

As always, The Toy Insider readers can click through any item they find on thetoyinsider.com to purchase at their favorite retailers, including Walmart, Target, Amazon, and more.

Later this year, The Toy Insider will also make gift-giving easier than ever before with the launch of its Perfect Present Wizard. This new tool will help shoppers find great gifts for the kids in their lives at the exact price point they want to spend.

“At The Toy Insider, we are all kids at heart, and we are here to help parents and gift-givers make the very best choices for the little ones in their lives,” says The Toy Insider’s Chief Toy Officer Laurie Schacht. “After all, the power of play is nothing short of magical!”

“Our goal for the Toy Insider was to create a new design that is both eye-catching and useful for their visitors,” says Lisa Sabin-Wilson, partner and chief operating officer at WebDevStudios. “The partnership between The Toy Insider and WebDevStudios has been a real win-win, delivering great results and we are looking forward to continuing our work with them on additional projects within the Adventure Media & Events organization.”

The Toy Insider’s Playlist e-newsletter — a weekly round-up packed with the latest toy reviews, giveaways, and more content found on toyinsider.com — also sports a brand new look, and now features a new product recommendation section, full of new items recently launched at major and specialty retailers and available for purchase. You can subscribe to the Playlist here to make sure you get all the latest toy news right to your inbox each week.
