Thunderbird Brands and tokidoki have named Jazwares as the global master toy licensee for Mermicorno: Starfall. The partnership will result in a new line of toys for the upcoming series.
Mermicorno: Starfall is inspired by tokidoki’s Mermicorno characters, half-unicorn and half-mermaid creatures that initially launched as collectible figures, apparel, and more in 2016. The new animated series is in production now with Thunderbird’s Atomic Cartoons, and is expected to premiere on Max in early 2025.
Jazwares will follow the debut with a full collection of toys. The company has secured exclusive global rights to produce figures, dolls, playsets, vehicles, plush, Squishmallows, Halloween costumes, pet accessories, dress-up costumes, role play items, musical instruments, and novelty items based on the animated series.
The first Mermicorno: Starfall toy line is set to launch with a limited product assortment in spring 2025, followed by a larger collection that fall.
The new Mermicorno: Starfall animated series will follow a group of Mermicornos living in a magical world under the sea as they navigate friendship, self-expression, and more. Thunderbird Brands and tokidoki are aiming to continue to grow the licensee roster for the series, with hopes to expand into publishing, interactive, and apparel partners.
