TIF Collecting Summer Toy Drive Donations through Labor Day

SummerToyDrive2015The Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) is calling on toy manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and importers to continue donating arts and crafts, plush, outdoor toys, musical toys, board games, books, DVDs, and other toy and youth entertainment items for its 2015 Summer Toy Drive, which is open from now through Labor Day weekend. The items will be donated to children who are sick, in foster care, living on U.S. military bases, or experiencing other hardships.

Since kicking off on June 1, the Summer Toy Drive has collected nearly $1 million in brand-new toys for 62,000 children in need. TIF’s goal is to reach $5 million in toy donations by summer’s end.

Donations can be made by completing the product donation form located at the TIF website, and sending it to Elizabeth Max at emax@toyindustryfoundation.org. Free pick-ups are available in many cases.
